Review & Give-Away: Nifty Nappy

Even before Baby O was born, B and I knew we would cloth-diaper.  Not only can cloth-diapering save you money, it is hands down the healthiest choice for both your baby and the environment.  Along the way, we’ve figured out most of the logistics and have managed to cloth-diaper with ease, even while traveling.  When Summer arrived and thoughts of swimming entered our minds, I knew we wouldn’t be using disposable swim diapers either.

Nifty Nappy is a family-owned business specializing in cloth diapers and cloth diaper accessories.  We had an opportunity to review the Nifty Nappy SwimzEaze reusable swim diaper this past Summer.  Upon receiving our SwimzEaze, I was immediately impressed.  Theis swim diaper is well-made and so soft!  I have to admit, our SwimzEaze did not see much action as little O was afraid of the pool.  I can say, though, that we did not have any issues the short time O was wearing the diaper.  We got an excellent fit, with no leaking around the legs or tummy.  Since Nifty Nappy SwimzEaze are so generously sized, I think we’ll be able to use this swim diaper next year as well!

At the same time we received the SwimzEaze, we also received a pair of Nifty Knickers for review.  Nifty Knickers are wool longies handmade from upcycled sweaters.  Each pair of Nifty Knickers is custom-made to your child’s measurements to ensure a good fit.  We have gotten a lot of use out of our Nifty Knickers, especially now that the air is getting cooler.  Baby O often wears these longies for naps and nighttime because they are so cozy, and we have yet to have a single leak.  These longies come lanolized and even with frequent use, I’ve yet to have to relanolize them!  They’re soft, warm, and with the roll-down cuff will likely last O through most of the winter months.
